As in previous years the A15 from the A46 Lincoln By-pass to the A631 at Caenby Corner is closed to all but Show traffic. In order to arrive at the Show with minimal delays please note the following advice.
Please follow the directions and instructions that are given by Traffic Marshalls, Police Officers and Society Stewards – they are aware of where delays currently are and which car parks have the most space.
Plan to approach to the Showground the way you wish to depart.
Routes to the Show will be signposted. Please follow directions and comply with signage and instructions
The A15 between the Riseholme Roundabout on the A46 and the Showground is used exclusively for Show traffic. The road will be subject to a one-way traffic system on both days of the Show. However, this will be restricted to single file traffic and both lanes will not be used.
All car parks will be colour coded (Black, Green, Brown and White) see map for designated areas.
Members' car park - access via Gate 9 on the B1398 Middle Street (Burton Road) throughout the entire day, or via Gate 1 (off the A15) on the morning of Show days,
Disabled badge holders - there will be designated areas available in Brown and White car parks. Disabled badge holders will be directed to these areas regardless of which entrance to the Showground they use. Pre-booked Motability scooters are located in Brown Car Park.
Drop off and Pick-up points – service coaches, buses and taxis should use Gate 9 on the B1398 Middle Street (Burton Road). This entrance is also to be used for private cars intending to drop off and pick up visitors to the Show. This is the only point that should be used for drop offs and pick-ups.
Traffic from the M180, Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire can approach the Showground by using either the A15 or the B1398 and will enter via Gates 2 or 7.
Traffic from the North East Lincolnshire, Market Rasen and Louth areas should join the A15 at Caenby Corner and will enter the Showground via Gates 2 or 7.
Traffic from the North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Gainsborough should use A156 joining the A1500 (Tillbridge Lane) and enter via Gates 7 or 9.
Traffic from the Skegness, Horncastle and the east should proceed along the A158 (Wragby Road) and follow directional signs and, dependent on traffic conditions at the time, will be directed to the Showground via the A15 and Gate 1, or through the city of Lincoln and approach via the B1398 to Gate 9.
Traffic from the south, west and Nottinghamshire should follow the A46 and then the A15 to the Showground.
Traffic approaching from the city of Lincoln or the south via Sleaford should follow signs to the B1398, Burton Road and enter through Gate 9.
All coaches will be directed to Gate 9 on the B1398 (Middle Street/Burton Road).
Please consider the time at which you plan to leave the Showground in order to avoid the rush at the end of the day. We host around 12,000 cars on Show days and so unfortunately some queuing may be inevitable.
